Dell updates the screens in the series Ultrasharp regularly, and it appears to be that time again. According to TFT Central, the computer giant is about to release three new monitors with IPS panel; U2412HM, U2312HM and U2212HM.
The Dell Ultrasharp U2412HM measures 24 inches and takes over after U2410 with 1920 x 1080 pixels, an e-IPS panel and WLED lighting. The panel is expected to produce about 80 percent of the NTSC color space, which is clearly less compared to its predecessor.
All the details are not yet known but it is speculated that the model comes with a matte screen surface and at least DVI and Display Port inputs. The smaller models–the Ultrasharp U2312HM and U2212 are 23 and 21.5 inches respectively, with more or less identical specifications: 1080p, eIPS and WLED. No exact launch date is known other than that the new displays will show up sometime in the third quarter.
