(Video after the break). Dell’s new monitor with multi-touch functionality and a high-quality IPS panel that we’ve mentioned earlier is now available. It opens up interesting possibilities for the existing multi-touch features in Windows 7 .
The Dell ST2220T is 21.5 inches in size and can be folded down flat on the table in order to use the touchscreen comfortably. The IPS panel’s resolution is 1920×1080 pixels, contrast ratio 1000:1, response time 8 ms (G2G) and viewing angles are 178/178, Connectivity options include HDMI, DVI, D-SUB (VGA) and 4 USB ports.
The monitor is available now from Dell.com and will likely show up at other retailers soon.
