Japanese manufacturer NEC now launches a 27″ IPS monitor aimed at professional users who will not compromise on color reproduction. It is called Spectraview Reference 271 and measures 27 inches and has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The screen’s 10-bit IPS panel offers a low 5ms response time, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 360 cd/m2 maximum brightness.
The best part is arguably the monitor’s capability of displaying 98 percent of Adobe RGB color space which should make it a good choice even for demanding users. Its maximum viewing angle is 178 degrees and the screen comes with VGA and DVI connections. NEC offers a three-year warranty on the Spectraview Reference 271
