EIZO ColorEdge is a series of screens designed with professionals in mind, and all can be hardware calibrated. Both models are capable of displaying 10-bit video signals and 1.07 billion colors, compared to the more common16.7 million colors. The ColorEdge series now gets two new additions in the form of 30-inch CG303W and 22-inch CG223W.
CG303W is an IPS model with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and displays 98 percent Adobe RGB color space. The viewing angles are 178 degrees and it has a maximum brightness of 260 cd/m2 and 850:1 contrast ratio.
The slightly smaller CG223W is the VA-type (vertical alignment) screen with 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution that covers 95 percent of the Adobe RGB color space. The luminance is 270 cd/m2, contrast ratio 950:1 and the viewing angles are the same as the CG303W.
